Celestron is the largest manufacturer of telescopes in the world.
Celestron also manufactures excellent binoculars, spotting scopes, optical and digital microscopes, and accessories for all of the above.
Tom Johnson, Celestron’s founder, revolutionized amateur astronomy in the 1950’s and 1960’s when he invented manufacturing techniques which brought high quality telescopes to the public at reasonable prices. The company has since had a storied history culminating in its current dominant position in the astronomical universe.
Enerdyne Inc. represents Celestron in Michigan and surrounding states and has done so for a quarter of a century, ever since Professor Dick Cookman’s college Astronomy students requested local access to quality telescopes & binoculars.
Although we do not stock everything that Celestron produces, we do carry a huge inventory of their products and can get any products that they have in stock in a week under normal conditions.
Celestron product cost for customers who purchase at our store in Suttons Bay is the MAP price, the minimum price permitted by Celestron. Additional savings accrue from the absence of shipping charges from California or other distant sites.
