In addition to waterproofing, the binoculars are protected with durable natural rubber covering.
They feature a high quality porro prism optical system which provides incredible depth of focus and virtually eliminates the need for focusing after initial setup. The clarity and field of view of the 7X50 and 10×50 makes them ideal choices for hand held astronomy, nautical, and long distance birding or other viewing. The higher power and impressive light gathering of the 16×80 is an excellent choice for astronomy, while the even higher magnification 20×80, 20×100, and 25×100 are geared for astronomy and long range terrestrial observation and specialized outdoor applications such as aircraft observation. All models provide long eye relief and deliver full field of view with or without glasses.
